I decided to field trip to The High Line for this assignment. The former elevated railroad allowed for interesting angles for shooting the surrounding architecture. The weather and time of day was ideal for strong shadows, which is what I chose to focus on in the majority of my shots.
Excellent choice, Rachel! Both shots show wonderful structure, light and shadow. You are filling the frame nicely and really "get" the idea for this assignment...

I wanted to add that in looking down, or looking up, that change of normal "looking out" adds much visual interest.
